ABOUT ME
Jisu Lee is a passionate and experienced piano teacher with over five years of teaching experience, specializing in both classical and jazz styles. Classically trained from the age of seven and later majoring in jazz in college, Jisu blends a strong technical foundation with a creative and expressive approach to music. She currently teaches RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) curriculum as well as jazz, working with students of all ages.

Jisu believes that music should be joyful, not stressful—especially for children. She loves working with young students and strives to make lessons fun, engaging, and tailored to each child's pace and personality.

Originally from South Korea, Jisu grew up surrounded by music, thanks to her father, a music producer and commercial jingle writer. She moved to Toronto in 2017 to pursue her music career more fully. Beyond teaching, she is a singer, songwriter, and audio engineer. Her work includes producing music for TV commercials and releasing her own original songs. Her music style combines acoustic pop, jazz, and R&B with warm, heartfelt storytelling.

Jisu is currently teaching piano and composition full-time at Long & McQuade Music School in Richmond Hill, where she helps students grow not only in skill but also in confidence and creativity.
